The Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs (MARM) has opted for the municipality of Torrox for the construction of the future marina to be implemented in the region of Axarquia.
Of the four sites proposed by the Andalucian Ports Agency (APPA), Calaceite has been chosen as the most suitable.
This basically ‘unlocks’ the marina project allowing for draft projects to be prepared followed by public tendering.
