A number of music and music and movement teachers in Nerja, under the direction of Fernando J. Laguna from the Municipal School of Music, have been giving a series of one hour concerts and talks at local schools for pupils aged between three and five years.
The idea is to stimulate interest in music among the young children and it seems to have worked with, as one might expect, a rush of students wanting to start playing instruments, particularly percussion.
