A 50 year old British national, JSK, a resident of Mijas, was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday morning after his vehicle, a BMW, was involved in a number of collisions with cars parked in avenida de España in Calahonda.
The incident occurred at around 02:15, a local resident notifying the police that an accident had occurred. Police located the car and the driver was breathalised, the result being 0.71 or oalmost three times the legal limit.
The man has been detained in custody for alleged crimes against road safety. Fortunately, no-one was injured in the incidents but at least five cars were damaged.
