A 24 year old woman was shot dead by her husband on Saturday during a brawl in the Madrid suburb of Villaverde. Another woman, aged 23 years, was shot in the thigh.
The incident took place at around 19:00 in avenida de Los Rosales. A group of people were involved in an argument and brawl when, according to witnesses, 24 year old Ángel M.F. pulled a gun and fired two shots. The first bullet wounded a woman, the second ended the life of his wife.
After the shooting the man took his wife to the hospital where he left her on the doorstep and fled the scene.
