Unusual History of Nerja

On Friday December 21st at 19:30 in the Nerja Museum is the presentation of a new book by Pablo Rojo Platero entitled ‘Historia Insólita de Nerja’ – ‘Unusual History of Nerja’, with stories of kidnapping, bandits, unsolved crimes, shipwrecks and other tales from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Tales of women trying to blow up their husbands, an assassinated Mayor, a terrorist born in Nerja and a girl ‘monster’ exhibited in a sideshow, all historically accurate and recounted with humour and irony.

The book also features some rare photos, many by the photographer Robert Holder.
