The Councillor for Beaches, Nieves Atencia, has already submitted the municipal Beach Plan for the 2013 season to the provincial Environment delegate, allowing adequate time should any changes be required.
The Plan is basically the same as for last year but does include a couple of new items. It includes plans for 76 sunbeds on El Cañuelo and for canoes on Maro beach, with the necessary nautical channel, as was the case back in 2007.
Once the Plan is published in the Official Provincial Gazette, interested parties will have eight days in which to make bids for the various concessions.
