La Tahona in Plaza Garcia Caparros reopened on May 3rd with new owners Margareth and Irk, a Dutch couple from the town of Egmond in North Holland, and has become La Tahona Holandesa. As the name suggests, the menu has a distinctly Dutch flavour – you can see the menu by following the link.
The bar is spacious, the separate dining area is well laid out, there is a nice terrace on the square, the welcome is warm and the tapas are tasty.
In addition to the regular menu there are regular specials and there are plans for some regular evenings of very traditional Dutch dishes, including delicious stews.
