After several days of partial strikes byRenfe and Adif workers, today, Thursday, is a 24-hour stoppage with 18 AVE trains cancelled in Andalucia.
The cancellations affect trains between Sevilla and Madrid and between Málaga and Madrid.
The strikes, set to continue in November and December, are in protest at plans to divide Renfe into four separate companies and Adif into two separate units. A division and privatisation of services was ratified by Renfe on Wednesday evening.
