The Councillor for Citizen Participation has announced the events to commemorate Constitution Day, beginning with a talk to be given by the provincial delegate Maria Bravo at the Nerja Cultural Centre, calle Granada 45, on December 4th.
The talk is aimed at third year ESO students and will end with the presentation of the awards for the Writing Contest whose subject is the Spanish constitution.
At 11:30 on December 6th there will be a reading of a manifesto by members of all the political groups in the municipality, this taking place in the Plenary hall at the Town Hall. Four students who have reached the age of 18 years will also read articles from the Spanish Constitution.
The traditional concert by the nerja Municipal Band and the ceremonial raising of the flags on the balcony of the Town Hall will not be taking place due to the roadworks currently being carried out in calle Carmen.
