A man killed his partner on Saturday morning in the Madrid suburb of Torrelaguna and then called the Emergency Services to confess.
At around 02:55 on Saturday morning, a local resident called the authorities to report that a man was beating a woman in a communal garage in calle Longar, Torrelaguna. A short while later, a man called the Emergency Services to report that he had just killed his partner.
Police found the lifeless body of the woman in the garage. She had suffered severe facial and head injuries.
