Saturday was the Christmas Dessert and Sweet Contest in Plaza de España and the winners in the various categories were as follows:
Traditional: An almond dessert by the only contestant in this category, Adolfo Arjona.
International: A coconut and milk cake by María Alejandra Bodadilla.
Creative: A tart called ‘Bola de Bieve’ (Snowball) by Ivana Fernández.
Each of the winners received €100. The jury consisted of Paqui Rojo, Virtudes Ariza, Angustias Ariza and Guadalupe Acosta.
