Alcaucín has inaugurated its first Art and Popular Development Centre, a project funded by the Málaga provincial Council.
The provincial Council provided €82,300 in funding, with €30,000 earmarked for interior furnishings, €16,300 for air conditioning and €36,000 to convert the basement into a municipal gymnasium.
The building is on three floors with a total area of 762 square metres. On the ground floor is the main entrance, multi-use room, toilets and an auditorium with dressing room.
On the first floor is an exhibition room and a multi-purpose unit. The basement will eventually house the gymnasium.
