The Council is planning to spend €365,000 on new vehicles and other items for the Cleaning and Electricity services.
Budget provision has been made for the purchase of a new truck for the collection of solid waste (€200,000), a vehicle with a pressurised hot water container for street cleaning (€60,000), a platform truck for electrical work (€60,000) and a van (€20,000).
In addition, €25,000 has been allocated for new rubbish containers.
