Nerja Mayor Rosa Arrabal, and the Councilor of Beaches, Cristina Fernández, welcomed the summer season lifeguards on Burriana Beach to wish them a summer without incidents.
In total 30 lifeguards together with six additional staff will be operational on Nerja public beaches from June 15th to September 30th.
The lifeguards will responsible for swimmers safety between the hours of 11:40 am until 20:00 pm seven days a week.
While speaking at the event, Mayor Arrabal said: “We hope that the people are civic and will follow all the instructions of the lifeguard team to ensure we have a good summer without incidents.”
