The 69-year-old American actor Richard Gere was spotted Friday walking around the town of Camas in between takes for the filming of an upcoming BBC series.
The star of Hollywood blockbusters, An Officer and a Gentleman and Pretty Woman was seen with his expecting Spanish actress wife, Elena Anaya who is also in the new drama titled MotherFatherSon.
Written and created by Tom Rob Smith (Child 44, London Spy, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story) the eight-part drama will air on BBC 2 in 2019.
Set in Mexico and London, Gere plays a charismatic self-made U.S. businessman with media outlets around the world.
When asked about the new show Gere said: “It’s been almost 30 years since I worked in television. I’m so pleased to be working now with the BBC on this extraordinary 8-hour project with such talented people and which resonates so much to the time we live in”.
