The Cafe Paris in calle Chaparil, Nerja, opened at the end of June 2014. It is fairly spacious inside and has a small street terrace, invariably full.
Buffet breakfast at Agape
For those who like a buffet style breakfast, Restaurant Agape in calle Granada, Nerja, offers just such a beast. You can sit inside or out on the terrace and it costs €6.
Tapas at TapeArte
TapeArte on avenida Castilla Perez, Nerja, opened on Saturday so, naturally, a visit was in order.
As one closes…
Another one gets ready to open. Agridulce, opposite the Mercadona on calle San Miguel, has closed and is up for sale. TapeArte, on the other hand, on avenida Castilla Perez (former Saloon) looks fairly close to opening for business.

La Andaluza opens in Plaza La Marina
A new addition to Plaza La Marina in Nerja is La Andaluza, sandwiched between Ninfea and the Teteria Karabeo. Has a street terrace and is offering a beer and tapa for €1.50.
Trebol reopens
Trebol, located on the corner of calle Almuñecar and calle Rodrigues Acosta near the Parador fountain in Nerja, has reopened under new ownership.
Now that’s what I call delicious
Cherries on top, chocolate, cream and a crunch dark chocolate and biscuit base – a bit like a thin slice of Toblerone for the want of a better description- and served with a dollop of cream.
The Good Stuff closed for holidays
The excellent Good Stuff on the corner of calle San Miguel and avenida Castilla Perez is closed for the month of August for holidays.
