Starting this week, El Varadero on El Playazo beach, Nerja, will begin offering a menu of the day (menu del dia) – 2 courses for just 7€. Available all day.

Tried the new Steakhouse at Burriana on Saturday evening, curious to see what it was like. Steaks, naturally, and various large burgers are the main items on the menu.
Cake at Jackie’s in Nerja
There are quite a few good coffee/tea and snack places around at the moment – Good Stuff and Moin Moin being very good – and a new one joined the ranks on Saturday, Jackie’s. Just had to try it!

Just opened on avenida Mediterraneo in Nerja, opposite the Hotel Riu Monica, is a new Tex-Mex restaurant called Andale.

During the month of July, V&P Taverne Restaurant in calle Los Huertos 52, Nerja, has a ‘July Special’ of 2 steaks for €25. Served with mixed salad and French fries.
Patatas a lo pobre at El Barrio
Cafe El Barrio in calle El Barrio, Nerja, remains a little gem. A small bar, nice terrace and a good selection of tapas and a beer and a tapa still €1.50.
