Six people were injured, one of them very seriously, as a result of a fire in an apartment block in Algeciras.
Men in a box
Five illegal immirants were discovered on Friday evening in a container on the Danish ship Alexander Maersk after it docked in Algeciras. The ship had arrived from Cartagena, Murcia. The five men were weak from severe dehydration but did not need hospital treatment. They are now guests of the National Police.

The Guardia Civil has arrested a coupon seller on charges of sexually abusing children in Algeciras. The detainee is a 31 year old physically disabled man and he has been charged with the sexual abuse of seven children. He is due to appear in court later today.
