Calle Carabeo update June 8th

Work is proceeding in calle Carabeo, looks a lot better now and no horrendous smells anymore. Still a bit to do, though, but at least it’s moving along.

Calle Carabeo update, May 24th

Fortunately for all concerned, we have moved from ‘gagging stench’ to ‘occasional niff’ in calle Carabeo as phase two of the roadworks continue. It is looking much better now that the big hole has gone and pedestrian access is no longer as restricted. Still a bit to do, but definitely heading in the right direction, at last.

Renovations…

Renovation time at Kronox cafe on the Balcón de Europa, getting everything spruced up for Easter. Quite a few people pottering about on the Balcón today and the cafe Albi terrace was almost full. Not really hot enough for the beach I suppose, although nice and calm for swimming.

Calle Carabeo and Chocolat…

Work has indeed started on phase two of the calle Carabeo improvement scheme and is scheduled to last until the summer, provided all goes to plan! But when does it ever? The stretch currently being renovated begins by the alley leading to the Los Huertos car park (that’s the place where the market is not going to be) and covers …
