Hikers rescued in Granada

National Police officers rescued a group of hikers who managed to get lost and disoriented about eleven kilometres from Granada on the camino de Beas.

Fishing boat sinks near Caleta de Vélez

The seven crew members of the fishing vessel ‘Unión Familiar’ had to be rescued early this morning after the boat sank near Caleta de Vélez in the municipality of Vélez-Málaga. No-one was injured in the incident.

A 27 year old climber had to be rescued today after he fell and ended up suspended about 60 metres above the ground in an area just outside Benaoján.
