Workers at the joint venture cleaning company EMMSA in Rincón de la Victoria have voted not to carry out their proposed industrial action after the Mayor, Francisco Salado, commited in writing to discuss their demands, especially those relating to improving materials.

One week strike in Barbate

A one week strike has begun in all municipal services in Barbate, Cádiz. The nearly 300 workers are protesting at not having been paid at all so far this year. The Department of Employment has set minimum service levels.

Iberia has cancelled 138 flights scheduled for Monday, 72 national and 66 international, due to the continuing strike action by SEPLA pilots who object to the setting up of the low cost airline Iberia Express.
