Police and lifeguards had to rescue a young swimmer from the rocks off the Balcon de Europa after he ignored a red flag and went into the water anyway.
The youth, a resident of Aguilar de la Frontera in Cordoba, was swimming off Calahonda beach when he was dragged onto the rocks near the Balcon de Europa.
The youth had wounds and scratches all over his body, although none of them serious, and was treated at the Health Centre.
