A lorry driver from Nerja, 56 year old E.L.V., was run over and killed yesterday evening near Arcos de Jalón in Soria. Another lorry driver was seriously injured in the incident.
Two lorries were involved in a collision at 10:25 at km 164 on the A-2 in Arcos de Jalón. The two drivers had got out of their vehicles and were on the road when they were hit by a van, one of them being killed, the other seriously injured.
The driver of the van did not stop after the incident but was later arrested by the police after he was located some thirty kilometres away in Zaragoza province. He is 35 year old V.S. from Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid.
