Work has started on a project in Maro to join the road down to the beach with the village square, the works taking place near the old sugar mill.
The project is costing €170,000 and is being financed through FEELS, the works being carried out by the Nerja transport company ANTELO with a completion period of three months.
The project includes ramps, stairs, garden areas, lighting and seating and will eventually mean that the various levels, such as the square and the car park, are all connected.
