The Council is once again requesting the Ministry of Environment of the Junta de Andalucia to carry out repairs to the tracks leading to El Pinarillo and Fuente del Esparto, although one would imagine that the chances of action, particularly with the elections coming up, are slim at best.
The tracks have been badly damaged over the years, both by bad weather and general wear and tear, and the Council argues that they are not in an acceptable state for the movement of people and vehicles.
According to the Council, the condition of the roads makes access by municipal vehicles difficult with the risk of breakdowns and accidents. Municipal access is necessary to maintain both El Pinarillo and Fuente del Esparto.
