The Nerja Local Police have begun a new series of road safety education classes at schools in the area, starting at the Virgen del Mar school in the barriada de Las Protegidas.
The classes relate not only to the rules, regulations and safety aspects relating to drivers, but also as they relate to passengers in or on vehicles and for pedestrians too.
The first class was given by officer Bernardo Cortés and his audience were children aged between six and eight years.
