The municipal spokesman, José Miguel García, has reported that the Council has finally received the new Functional Plan relating to the construction of a new Health Centre in Nerja, adding that the document was promised last October.
Garcia noted with apparent surprise that the long-awaited new Functional Plan was merely a single sheet of paper.
The plan will now be studied by municipal technicians to see how it differs from the previous Functional Plan of 2002 and determine whether a new project is necessary or if the current project can be amended.
Garcia also lamented the fact that the Health Centre project appears to have been stalled for so long for the want of this single sheet of paper, saying that it demonstrates a lack of seriousness on the part of the Junta de Andalucia.
