At a meeting between the mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, and the new managing director of the Hospital Comarcal de la Axarquía, José Pinazo, it was reportedly confirmed that the Junta de Andalaucia provide a lift for the local Health Centre, something the Council has been requesting for a long time.
According to the Council, the draft project is in its final phase and once it arrives in Nerja, it can be studied by municipal technicians with a view to granting a building licence as soon as possible.
