The Council is hoping to push through a motion for a change to the PGOU (General Plan) relating to numbers 15 and 15A in calle Animas, two privately owned properties, which they would like to convert into a social-cultural facility.
The properties, classified as being for residential use under the PGOU, cover an area of 629 square metres and once housed a mill and, more recently, a car repair shop.
The property is of interest to the Council due to its proximity to both the Nerja Cultural Centre and the Nerja Museum.
