There have been over 13,000 complaints of domestic violence in Andalucia during the first six months of 2013, a 2% increase over the same period last year.
There has been a significant increase in complaints by young women and even minors and one third of fatalities have been women under the age of thirty years. Victims as young as 15 years have suffered psychological, physical or sexual abuse.
