Based on the 2004 Argentinian movie “Conversaciones con Mamá” the play is about a middle-aged man, his wife, family and his 76-year-old mother.
Jamie has a beautiful wife and two children who live a pampered life until Jamie finds out he is being laid-off.
Now faced with the financial reality that he can no longer maintain the lifestyle he has come to enjoy Jamie is forced to tell his mother that she will have to come and live with him so that he can sell the flat where she lives.
Conversaciones con Mamá will touch you with its comedy and sensitivity while at the same time exposing how your life can be changed by one unavoidable event.
The play will be on for one night, Saturday, June 9th at the Centro Cultural Villa de NerjaCalle Granada, 45.
