Day of the Cross 2013 – thirteen crosses to visit
A total of thirteen crosses will adorn the streets of Nerja and Maro for the Day of the Cross – Dia de La Cruz – on Friday May 3rd 2013. Ten of the crosses will be in Nerja itself and three in the village of Maro.

The Cofradía de los Verdes (Brotherhood of the Greens) in Alhaurín el Grande are holding a series of events this weekend to mark the Day of the Cross, with processions on Sunday and Monday.
May Crosses competition
The period for groups or individuals to register for the May Crosses competition is now open with the deadline being April 28th. Those interested should register at the Nerja Cultural Centre in calle Granada. The Day of the Crosses is May 3rd.
