Burriana Underground Parking is open

Nerja parking official Cristina Fernández announced on Friday that the underground parking facility at Burriana Beach was officially open. The Burriana underground parking complex offers the public 240 parking spaces with 8 spaces designated for people with reduced mobility.    

Removal of signs

The Council has ordered the immediate withdrawal of signs relating to the parking of campers and caravans in the municipality as these are apparently illegal.

Where there’s a will…

With calle Diputación closed to traffic for the next three months, access to the bottom half of calle Granada has been cut. Well, in theory at least.

Out and About November 3rd 2014…

Although it is still generally shorts and t-shirt during the day – fabulous for the beginning of November – a light sleeve can be necessary in the evening. Not bad, though.

Blue Zone parking with a difference in Torrox

Torrox Council has introduced a rather different sort of ‘blue zone’ parking system for tourists, residents and traders visiting the historic centre, one that doesn’t fleece the motorist at every turn.
