The work on renovating calle El Barrio started this morning, Monday March 11th. The project is expected to take four months to complete.
Proposed renovation projects in Frigiliana

The work to to complete the renovation of calle El Barrio, the section connecting with avenida Castilla Perez, did not start this week, presumably due to the Andalucia Day public holiday and the slightly inclement weather. Work continues on calle Chaparil
Work is continuing on calle Chaparil to replace the pavements damaged by tree roots amongst other things. On Thursday there must have been a dozen workmen, and women, on the site which is a little unusual.
Roadworks near La Viñuela
The A-402 near La Viñuela is cut at km 57.500 due to roadworks to repair damage to the drainage system caused by the recent storms. The works are costing €224,000.
Roadworks in Archidona
Extensive roadworks have finally started in calle Soledad and cuesta de Santo Domingo in Archidona, Málaga province, the works including the replacement of existing infrastructure and the removal of architectural barriers.
Roadworks planned in calle Carmen
The Council has approved the technical details for further renovation works to calle Carmen, this time the area connecting the street to Plaza de España. The €60,000 project includes, amongst other things, replacing the existing pavements.
Money in budget for pedestrianisation of calle Del Mar
Vélez-Málaga Council has included an amount of €250,000 in the budget for 2013 for the pedestrianisation of calle Del Mar in Torre del Mar between Avenida de Andalucía and the promenade, a stretch of road last renovated in 2007 at a cost of €1.5 million.
