Work has started on the next phase of renovating calle Chaparil, this time between the junctions with calle Antonio Millón and calle Jaén.

Today, Monday October 14th, should see the continuation of renovation work in calle Chaparil, this time on the stretch between calle Antonio Millón and calle Jaén.
Roadworks in calles Portichuelo, Federico Vahey and Gigantes
According to the Council, the urbanisation work in calle Portichuelo is now complete, the works in calle Federico Vahey are 65% complete and work is in progress in calle Gigantes. The works, being carried out by Construcciones Verosa S.L. with a budget of €147,661.09, will see the removal of architectural barriers with the roads and pavements on one level.
Roadworks have started in calle Arapiles
Work has started on renovating calle Arapiles, located behind the colegio Sohail, as part of the Municipal Employment Plan which will also see the renovation of calle Santa Cruz and calle Maestro Albéniz.
Calle Martínez Catena and calle Lamo de Espinosa roadworks to start this month
The proposed works to convert calle Martínez Catena and calle Lamo de Espinosa in Fuengirola into ‘boulevards’ is now set to commence on Monday September 16th.
Bridge closure on the SE-30 in Sevilla
The V Centenario bridge over the río Guadalquivir in Sevilla which carries the SE-30 will be closed in the direction of Cádiz and Madrid from 22:00 on Saturday July 13th to 12:00 on Sunday July 14th.
Roadworks nearing completion…
Work in calle El Barrio looks as if it is nearing completion and if finished within the next couple of weeks it could be within the scheduled four month completion period.

Section of calle la Cruz and calle Pintada closed to traffic
Roadworks in the centre of the town mean that the section after the municipal car park entrance in calle La Cruz to calle Pintada and up calle Pintada to calle Angustias is closed to traffic until Monday May 27th. Calle Nueva will also be closed to traffic.
Calle El Barrio May 20th 2013…
Work continues in calle El Barrio and a start has been made on putting down the tiles in the centre of the road. The small alleyway next to the ice cream parlour and Zaza’s has already been tiled.
