Torrecilla beach and area…
A lot of people fishing down on Torrecilla beach this afternoon and I just happened to have my camera in my hand when one of them actually caught something! Quite a few people milling around in Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos, many enjoying a drink or a meal on the terraces.
And down at Torrecilla beach…
Still a lot of people on the beaches, and in the sea!
El Chucho to be finished mid November
According to the latest information, the new promenade at El Chucho beach will be finished by mid November. This year, one assumes.

A Guardia Civil officer is in a serious condition in hospital following a boating accident off the Nerja coast.

Marker buoys adorn the coastline for a reason, one of them being to isolate an area where bathers are safe from motorised craft. Swimmers can swim in safety, snorkellers can snorkel away without individual markers in the knowledge that they can surface without being confronted by a boat or jet ski.
