The Council has dealt with over 100 complaints of poor TDT reception, particularly from people in Maro, Ladera del Mar and Punta Lara.
In many cases, people have only been able to receive one channel, Canal Sur. One of the problems, according to the Ministry of Industry, is two centres broadcasting on the same frequency, these being San Roque and Mijas.
The Council now has a complaint form, available from the Oficina Municipal de Atención al Ciudadano. The completed forms will be forwarded to the Ministry of Innovation and Ministry of Industry of the Junta de Andalucia.
