Residents of Nerja will not be charged for using the Los Huertos de Carabeo car park until an agreement is reached between the owners of the land and the Council on season ticket prices for those living in the area.
The area has been free parking for many years but the owners of the land have now decided to charge for the privilege. The area is also used for the annual Feria and the owners have apparently assured the Council that this can continue to be the case until the new feria site is built.
Nerja residents need to produce their DNI at the car park in order to be allowed to park for free.
