The Taller de la Amistad held their annual benefit dinner at the weekend and awards were given to individuals and entities that have helped the organisation throughout the year. These awards started back in 2006.
Volunteer award: Sergio Casanova for devoting his time to helping those involved in the Taller de la Amsitad.
Worker award: Georgina Toro Urdiales for her tireless work and an example to others.
Social Inclusion award: Cafetería Güena Gente, Taller Rojas, Hostal La Ermita and Tienda de Animales Fierecilla for their incorporation of those with disabilities.
Social Action award: El Cautivo Brotherhood for making sure that the Three Kings visit the Taller de la Amsitad each year.
Media award: This award was made posthumously to Pepe Pascual. The award was collected by his widow, Ana.
