The Museo de la Semana Santa in Vélez -Málaga is hosting an exhibition called ‘The Legacy of Faith’ (El legado de la fe) and it includes three religious artefacts, a chalice and two goblets, presented to the town by Queen Isabella at the end of the XV century.

Roadworks in calles Portichuelo, Federico Vahey and Gigantes
According to the Council, the urbanisation work in calle Portichuelo is now complete, the works in calle Federico Vahey are 65% complete and work is in progress in calle Gigantes. The works, being carried out by Construcciones Verosa S.L. with a budget of €147,661.09, will see the removal of architectural barriers with the roads and pavements on one level.
New Tourist Office for Vélez
The Council is anticipating the opening of a new Tourist Office in the historical centre of Vélez-Málaga at the end of this month.
