Torrox car park losses increasing

La Almedina underground car park in Torrox Pueblo, built at a cost of €7 million and opened in December 2008, has accumulated losses of over €1 million and both the Council and the concessionaire are exploring solutions to the situation.

UTE Almedina, who have a 20 year concession to run the car park in Torrox Pueblo, have accumulated losses of €67,900 (€503 per day) and are demanding compensation from the Council.
