On December 7th, the village of Maro celebrates the traditional Verbena de la Inmaculada in the multi-purpose centre starting at 19:00. Pastries, anise, gifts, a bar and music will be the order of the day.

New plants for Maro
All the plant boxes in Maro have been replanted with new blooms by the Parks and Gardens Department of Nerja Council as part of the ongoing beautification process. The 150 plant boxes in calle San Miguel and Plaza de Maro are now home to geraniums.
