77 year old man detained on suspicion of killing his partner
Guardia Civil officers in Santa Cruz, Tenerife, have detained a 77 year old man in connection with the death of his sentimental partner, a 71 year old woman. The woman’s naked body was found in a pond near her home in Arico Viejo on Wednesday. Her partner was the one who discovered the body and alerted the authorities.
Illegals arrive in Tenerife
A cayuco with 229 illegal immigrants on board has been towed into the port of Los Cristianos on the island of Tenerife. A total of 179 illegal immigrants arrived in Tenerife yesterday after their boat was intercepted by the Salvamento Marítimo.
TWO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FOUND DEAD
A dug-out arrived at Los Cristianos, Tenerife, in the early hours of this morning. The boat contained a total of 59 illegal immigrants including the bodies of two people who had not survived the crossing. The 57 survivors have been taken into custody by the local authorities.
